Description
Lightweight, heavy duty, universal light lifting solution for grow lights.
The FGI motorized light lift is a great tool for managing PAR on canopy. It can raise and lower lights 30 inches to give you an even distribution of brightness, making it perfect whether your plants are close or far away from the source! The universal mounting system allows any brand of lamps to be installed with ease too; so there's no need worry about getting wrong type equipment when trying new techniques at growing indoors.
Mount at any distance from ceiling. Upper light lift rail holds twin pnumatic motors activated by an up/down switch. The lower rail holds your lights. Heavy duty steel cable connects the top and bottom rail on a set of pullys coordinated to pull the lower rail up and down.
The lower rail, when fully retracted (pulled all the way up) should be set to where you want the lights at finished canopy height. This would be the same height you'd choose if you did not use a light lift.
30" of travel allows you to drop the lights during the plant strecth phase to increase PAR levels you would otherwise lose by having your lights mounted in a fixed position.
Wasted PAR, wasted energy cost.
Grow lights lose 50% of their energy over distance. For example if you bought lights to produce 1200 umols/ms at finished canopy height, say 18". Each 12" further away will reduce PAR by 50%. At 24" from the light PAR will drop to 600 umols/ms. At 36" PAR will drop by 50% once again to 300 umols/ms which is less than what Veg plants require, not to mention early flowering plants.
The lightlift gives back wasted PAR and allows growers to concentrate the PPPFD they desire at all stages of growth.

The FGI Lightlifter comes with pre-assembled top rails with pneumatic arms and steel aircraft cable. It ships in 8' sections with joining hardware to extend the final lift to 16'. The lower rails come pre-assembled and we provide sets of clevis cotter pins and rail insertion guides.
The lifts consist of twin upper and lower rails. The upper rail has four loops, one at each end, and allows for attachment to ceiling truss which we recommend be done with lengths of stainless steel threaded rod (not provided). The rod should be sized to allow the upper rail to be suspended at a height for the top limit of travel, or in other words the furthest you want the lights to be from the canopy. The lower rails on the lift hold the lights which have 30" of travel when fully extended. Steel aircraft cable (all parts provided) allows for a strong and safe up/down travel.
Alternatively, the lift can be suspended from the ceiling truss using chain (not provided).
Also recommended for simplifying the truss connection is lengths of Unistrut or Superstrut attached to the ceiling truss. Threaded eye bolts installed on the strut allow for adjustments after the fact.
Lift mounting width: The twin 16' rails are independent of one another. In other words, they do not need to be attached to one another. Each of the two sets of top and bottom lifting rails can be mounted at any distance. This allows the lift to be easily adapted to most brands of grow lights. The rail sets would then be mounted at the same distance that the light mounting points are from one another. This allows the lights to be balanced and properly sized to fit the lifts.
Light attachment: Our lifts were designed for FGI brand grow lights which have flip up brackets sized to fit into the lower lift rails. However in most cases any brand of light can be used with the lifts. Rope hangers or steel loop cables can be used to attach to the provided mounting guide and clevis with cotter pins. Rope hangars and loop cables are not provided.

The WeatherEFX concept in science is based on the idea that changes in weather can have a significant impact on plant growth and development. The term was first coined by botanists studying the effect of leaf shading and competitive growth responses in subalpine herbs. Our red + far red booster spectrum will help you grow the largest and most dense flowers. Super bright full spectrum 4000K diodes operate at an efficent 2.3umols/j plus 5% total 660nm red and 730nm far red diodes in a cool square within a square within a square design. This light can run full cycle from seedling to veg to flower.
COVERAGE
The Square 3 is designed for flowering in 3'x3' spaces at up to 1000 umols/ms. (CO2 recommended for this light level). Or grow at 800 umols/ms without CO2. It can be used for Veg when dimmed. And when fully dimmed can be used over clones and starts too.Below are PAR readings with the lights at three different distances. At 24" expect PPFD to be above 1000 umols/ms, but not as uniform.At 30" PAR will be above 750 umols/ms. This is an ideal light level if not using supplemental CO2. These levels are equal to a typical HPS grow space.At 36" light levels become more uniform from corner to corner but at 680 umols are below what we'd recommend for flower.At 48", light levels are the most uniform and are perfect for mature veg plants. Use the built in dimmer to reduce intensity for young veg plants.

With one piece of equipment, you can essentially control anything you need in your grow room. There are more than 17 separate types of control modules, granting you the ability to connect the Hydro-X to A/C's and HVAC
To put it simply, the TrolMaster Hydro-X Environment Controller With 3-in-1 Sensor is the most intelligent and versatile system on the market.
The Hydro-X System Features A Modular Design
Another great feature of the Hydro-X Environment Control System is that you can control and customize every last detail of the controller. The modular design means you can configure the separate components in unique ways to create the best environment for your plants because every grow is different.
You can control up to 512 different grow lights on two separate channels, and operate different systems simultaneously. Just about every lighting brand and product on the market is compatible with the Hydro-X with different adapters.

Using the LMA-14 Adapter (Adapter F) for multiple lights
The LMA-14 Adapter can be used for 24 Drivers (LEDs) or 40 Ballasts with either the HCS-1 or HCS-2 Hydro-X controllers. Both the Hydro-X Controllers have 2 line lights giving the ability to control double the amount of each type of light (48 LEDs and 80 Ballasts).
All the other controlled modules are connected to the device channel.

TS-1/TS-2 for HVAC Systems
The TS-1 (4 Wire) & TS-2 (6 Wire) thermostat stations are designed to replace a thermostat connected to a conventional cool only HVAC unit.
ARS-1 for Mini Split System
The ARS-1 mini-split air conditioner controller is a universal controller that works with most mini-split air conditioners (and some window-type AC units too), as long as the unit came with an IR / infrared remote controller.
DST-1 for Temperature-Controlled Outlets (120 Volt)
The TrolMaster DST-1 Temperature control modules allow the user to easily connect and control standard heating or cooling devices to the Hydro-x. Any heating or cooling device that is 10-amps at 120 volts or less can be controlled by the DST-1.
DST-2 for Temperature-Controlled Outlets (240 Volt)
The TrolMaster DST-2 Temperature control modules allow the user to easily connect and control standard heating or cooling devices to the Hydro-x. Any heating or cooling device that is 10-amps at 240 volts or less can be controlled by the DST-2.

HS-1 for Commercial Dehumidifiers
The HS-1 is the best way to control your dehumidifiers by eliminating the need to control the high-amperage / inrush current associated with dehumidifiers.
DSH-1/DSH-2 for Humidity-Controlled Outlets
The TrolMaster DSH-1 (120 Volt) & DSH-2 (240 Volt) Humidity control / device modules allow the user to easily connect and control standard humidifying or dehumidifying devices to the Hydro-x.
DSC-1 for CO2-Controlled Outlets
The TrolMaster DSC-1 CO2 control / device module allows user the to easily connect and control standard supplemental CO2 devices or CO2 exhaust controls to the Hydro-x. Any CO2 device that is 10-amps @ 120 volts or less can be controlled by the DSC-1.
DSP-1/DSD-1
The TrolMaster DSP-1 (120 Volt) program device module (timer module) works like a multi-function timer. The DSP-1 allows the user to easily connect any device that needs to be controlled by TIME to the Hydro-x.
The Trolmaster DSD-1 Dry-contact module provides a simple and flexible solution to who want to connect & control devices to the Hydro-X using a dry-contact or relay to activate the device.

Description
The Hydro X Plus / HCS-3 system is a professional-grade single-zone environmental control system that can control your entire grow space. It has an 800x480 7” LED display monitor and can control an unlimited number of lights, 8 temperature devices, 8 humidity devices, 4 CO2 devices, and 12 programmable timer devices (up to 50 schedules can be created). With incredible flexibility and the expanded product capacity, anyone can now easily customize their own grow room control system for maximum yields. Having multiple control modules also provides the option for the user to create multiple "stages" of growth. By staggering the start times of each stage, the user can minimize the amount of time that plants spend in vegetative growth and focus on the flowering phase.

The HCS-3 system comes with an MBS-PRO 4-in-1 sensor to measure temperature, humidity, CO2 ppm, and the presence of light. Lighting control has never been easier or more capable.
The optional MBS-PAR light sensor can be added to the system. It will automatically adjust light intensity to precisely provide the exact amount of illumination for optimum plant growth. The Hydro-X Plus has been can also track your DLI levels. Having 2 separate lighting control channels allows the user to create multiple lighting layouts (and dimming sequences) based on their individual preferences. Besides controlling your room, if a problem is detected by the HCS-3, a warning message (notification) will be sent to your smartphone. Up to 10 smoke detectors and 10 water leak-detectors can be connected to the HCS-3 which will alert you if there are any fire or water leaks. The HCS-3 also offers multiple advanced functions to control your entire grow room or greenhouse such as Sunrise / Sunset simulation, DLI control, overheat protection, Spectrum & Group lighting control, and more.

TrolMaster revolutionized environmental controller technology when it introduced the Hydro-X. The Hydro-X Pro continues the revolution with a 10’ touch-screen and a web-based software.
The Hydro-X Pro is backwards compatible with all current Hydro-X control / device modules. It also provides greater flexibility and allows any plug-in module to be addressed to be whatever the user wants. The user can also set up each plug-in module to have multiple “conditions” that will activate the module, allowing for almost unlimited control options.
The Hydro-x Pro is designed to be a single room controller for reliability and ease-of-use. The Hydro-X Pro expands the capability of the original Hydro-X by allowing up to 50 sensors and up to 50 separate control modules to be connected to a single Hydro-X Pro. Multiple sub-zones can be created within the single grow space by linking a specific sensor, to a specific control function(s).The new 4-in-1 sensor comes with a LCD screen which provide the ease of onside monitoring.
Customized programming allows almost limitless degree of control. Each of the variables (Temperature, Humidity, CO2, Light) can be controlled independently, meaning a customized ramp-up / ramp-down can be used to closely simulate natural outdoor conditions, or simply allow complete customization of the environment. Displayed on an easy-to-read and construct “graph” it allows the user to have 100% control of their environment.
Another powerful feature of the Hydro-X Pro is the built-in calendar and calendar presets that allows the user to schedule an entire crop’s “recipe” within the Hydro-X Pro. All settings including Lighting, Temperature, Humidity, CO2, and Timers can be specified by the user as they “build” their multi-week crop schedules. Reminders can also be programmed to ensure critical tasks are not forgotten.
The TrolMaster APP will also allow for notifications with separate day/night limits to be received by the user. The web-based software provides easy access and more advanced remote control. Onboard data acquisition and the ability to store and share setting between multiple devices, means that user-defined programs & settings can be saved and loaded into multiple Hydro-X Pro units with ease. A personalized screensaver page can be uploaded through a USB port. The same upgradeable feature like Hydro-X gives you the ability for life-time improvements.
